USED:

  • Denim Rugs
Our goal is to use something old to make something new, generate no waste, run off of renewable resources, and have the work performed by differently-abled workers.  These denim rugs are made of recycled jeans at the Camphill Village in Kimberton Hills, PA.  The adult villagers use the recycled jeans to make the rugs on a loom.  After all usable strips of the jeans are used for the rugs, any scraps that are left over are returned to Recycling Services, Inc. which will then be made into paper.  The cost of the rugs is $45.00, which helps pay the differently-abled workers who create them.
