We are writing today to ask for your financial support to help complete a renewable energy project at the recycling center.  Our goal is to raise $4,000 to construct a small solar electric system on the site and sell the power it generates to PECO.  We are seeking sponsors who will generously contribute towards the purchase of a power inverter and other hardware necessary to complete the system. Your generous contribution will be matched with components we have purchased, as well as volunteer effort to assemble and construct the system and connect it to the grid.
 
Your support will help us fulfill our vision and educational mission in a number of different ways.  The completed system will:

 

· Act as a teaching tool about solar electric (photovoltaic or PV) systems to those who visit the recycling center.
· Help promote the use of clean, renewable energy sources.
· Offset the electricity used at the recycling center with clean renewable energy.
· Reduce the carbon footprint of our recycling operations

 

Sponsorships are available at four different levels: Platinum = $1,000; Gold = $500; Silver = $250; and Bronze = $100.  Your sponsorship of the project will be recognized with a sign at the site and a press release recognizing your support.  Your donation will also be tax-deductible since RSI is registered as a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization.
